A pair of brothers represented their family and their home country of Ireland, as well as the Yale men s cross country team, at the SPAR European Cross Country Championships in Samokov, Bulgaria, on Sunday. The Bulldogs standout junior Kevin Dooney finished first on the Ireland team and 18th overall in Sunday s under-23 men s race. His older brother, Conor Dooney 12, finished fifth on the team and 51st overall in the senior men s race. The brothers will leave Bulgaria happy both with their performances and the opportunity to have made the trip together.
