Named Runner and Rookie of the Week

The University of Saint Joseph cross-country team competed Saturday in the Plansky Invitational at Mount Graylock High School, hosted by Williams College.

University of Saint Joseph sophomore Kaneen Gomez-Hixson finished 22nd in field of 22 teams and 210 runners as the Blue Jays competed at the Western New England Golden Bear Invitational Saturday.

The University of Saint Joseph cross country team placed 38th in a field of 44 Saturday at the James Earley Invitational.

University of Saint Joseph sophomore Kaneen Gomez-Hixson broke away from the pack early and stretched her lead throughout to win the individual title and lead the Blue Jays to the team championship Saturday at the 7th Annual USJ Blue Jay Invitational.
