This year during the annual banquet for the Yale women’s cross country team, junior Millie Chapman was chosen by her teammates to take the helm in the 2012-2013 academic year. This year’s current captain, senior Nihal Kayali was awarded the Mike Stanley-John Cleary Class of 1954 Women's Cross Country Award, given annually to "the outstanding member of the Yale women's cross country team who excels in Dedication, Commitment, and Inspiration to the sport of cross country."
