The University of Hartford men's and women's track & field team competed in the first day of the America East Conference Championships. The women's pentathlon highlighted the afternoon for the Hawks as sophomore Lauren Bossi and junior Maggie Fuller competed in a series of 8 events including 3 field and 3 running. Bossi started the pentathlon off strong recording the second best time in the 800-meter with 2:26.18. Following the 800-meter, Bossi ran the 60-meter hurdles in 9.82, jumped a height of 1.52m in the high jump, leapt a distance of 4.44m in the long jump, and recorded the sixth best
