Yale Fifth at NCAA Northeast Regional ChampionshipsPublished by
Yale women s cross country claimed fifth place overall (156 pts.) at the NCAA Northeast Regional Championships on Friday. The meet was hosted at the 6k course at Franklin Park in Boston, Mass. This marks the team s best result since 2005, when Yale also placed fifth. The championship meet brought together 38 teams, including Ivy League competitors Harvard (6th), Columbia (7th), Dartmouth (8th), and Cornell (9th)—all of whom the Bulldogs bested to come out on top. Friday s result is the culmination of a remarkably successful cross country season, including a second-place finish at the Heptagonal Championships and personal best times for nearly every member of the team s top seven. Providence won the regional championships with 49 points. Read the full article at: www.yalebulldogs.com
