After entering sophomore Duncan Tomlin in the 3,000-meter steeplechase on Friday evening, the Yale men s track and field team continued competition at the Intercollegiate Association of Amateur Athletes of America (IC4A) Championships on Saturday at Princeton's Weaver Stadium. Given the prestigious annual meet s entry standards, only eight Yale runners (four individual competitors and one relay team) took part in the action on Saturday, which served as the meet s second day and consisted primarily of prelim heats. Although no Yale runners qualified for Sunday s final round races, none of the team s eight competitors were seniors, and the experience some of the younger runners gained this weekend will likely prove valuable to the team next year.
