This Friday, the Yale women s cross country team brought 14 competitors to the CCSU Mini Meet in New Britain, Conn., hosted by Central Connecticut University. Both the varsity and sub varsity races were 3,000 kilometers long. Boston College, ranked No. 3 in the Northeast region, won the meet with 52 points. No. 5 Providence took second (58 pts.). These were the only two teams out of the 20 competing to overcome the Bulldogs, who placed third with 77 points. No. 6 New Hampshire (4th—112 pts.) and No. 13 Stony Brook (13th—342 pts.) were among those who fell to Yale s varsity team.
