The Yale women s 2014 cross country team will kick off its season this year on Sept. 12 with a historic tri meet with Ivy League rivals Harvard and Princeton. The meet will allow the team to test out its new squad of rookies and returning members alike, as both opponents belong not only to the Ivy League but also to the Northeast Region. The meet will thus serve as a crucial early-season test, as improving standings in both the league and the region will be Yale s primary focus this year.
